Practical Design
The nuvi 200W comes with a high- sensitivity GPS-receiver, WAAS-enabled, which makes this device one of the most accurate GPS navigators on the market. It also features an SD-card slot for storing your additional navigation tools, as well as a USB interface for easy data loading. The whole package is very small and light: just 3.8 inches wide by 2.8 inches high by .8 inches deep, with a weight of 5.2 ounces. The diagonal (3,5 inches) touch-screen display makes it very convenient to use the device, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides it with up to 5 hours of battery life.
Navigate Easily
Like all other portable navigators,Garmin 200W features City Navigator NT maps for the continental U.S., Puerto Rico and Hawaii. All the map data comes from the world-leader in premium-class mapping, NAVTEQ. Garmin navigators also feature a very large point-of-interest (POI) database with more than 6 million of gas stations, hotels, restaurants and ATMs which you can find by name or category.
You can also enter your own points of interest so that your portable navigator GPS will warn you about them in advance. So, just tap the touch-screen a couple of times, enter your destination and follow the 2-D or 3-D maps with turn-by-turn voice prompting to quickly get to where you need to be.
